In memorial of Uncle Nuam, a taxi driver who died for democracy

We'll run a few entries chronicling the recent death of Nuamtong Priwan, a taxi driver who killed himself in protest of the military coup on Oct.31 , just one month following an attempted suicide by ramming his taxi into a tank on Sep. 30.

We went to the funeral of Uncle Nuam for 2 nights and would like to share our perspectives about the life, hope, ideology and belief of Uncle Nuam. In the meantime, you can read the news regarding his heroic incidents from the following links.
